FAQs

  • I make all the text and art on my iPad PRO using an app called Procreate. I then use a self-publishing site called Blurb to make the physical copies.

  • The softcover versions of the books have a glossy cover that has more shine and reflection. They are more flexible and lighter in weight. The hardcover versions have a matte cover that is sturdier and are heavier in weight. The inside pages are pretty much the same.

  • Any books ordered through this site are hand shipped by me. I sign each and every book personally and include a business card that can act as a bookmark. They are then carefully packaged and shipped out with insurance covering any losses.

  • My books are really for all ages. While they skew towards the younger ages, I hope there is enough there for the older kids to enjoy, and maybe some adults. I do have plans to make a graphic novel that is geared for older audiences in the future.

  • The art prints are digital copies of my art work, printed on 5” x 7” acid free card stock. They are carefully shipped sandwiched between two chipboards and placed in a clear bag. They come with a stamp of my logo on the back and are personally signed.

  • Unfortunately I only ship to the United States and Canada right now. Books can be ordered from the publishing site and shipped to other countries (unsigned): Blurb Bookstore

All prices are in USD and shipping is adjusted accordingly. For CAD prices on books only, you can also use my other site: https://danielccamp.square.site/

  • I’m colorblind, so it’s difficult for me to distinguish between certain shades of color. I often have to use reference images to extract the colors I need in my art.

My son is a huge inspiration for these books and often supplies ideas and suggestions.

Each book except The Twelve Days of Christmas has a hidden bonus. The Last Pumpkin Picked has a cat, bat, or spider hidden on each page. There’s a Kraken Under the Bed! has a hidden axolotl on each page. Halloween A to Z has a second creature on each page for readers to guess who and what they are.
